Thymio

Shifting blocks or programing them directly? The Thymio robot makes it easy to get started with programming. It also offers experienced users a wide range of possibilities. Thymio helps children and young people to better understand and grasp technologies.

The possibilities

Various universities came together to develop Thymio for the school curriculum. Now, children and young people of all ages can quickly and easily dive into the world of robotics and programming. With four different programming languages and, depending on age group, experience or interest, the user can generate new behavioral patterns. VPL connects events and actions with blocks. With ASEBA everything can be programmed text-based down to the smallest details. Blockly allows discovering programming concepts through math, logic, loops and variables. With Scratch video games can be created. In combination with Lego or Arts & Craft, unique solutions can be imagined, there are no limits to creativity!

MODULES

Programming right from the start!

With VPL, children get into programming very easily. Using blocks, they can link actions and events together. Advanced learners program text-based with ASEBA. Is Thymio rightly following your instructions?
