Education and upbringing of children and teenagers is always about future. A future that is characterised by rapid technological changes, increasing global crises and great unpredictability. Our goal is to prepare children and teenagers for this in the best possible way. Together we strive for a "school of future" in which children and teenagers grow up to be self-confident shapers of their own future.
In our practical mint & pepper workshops, children and teenagers learn to better understand our technological world. We give them profound insights into new technologies, research and entrepreneurship. They discover STEM - science, technology, engineering and mathematics -, life sciences and their individual strengths in very practical applications and develop solutions for real life challenges.
Through reflection in connection with the workshops and in close cooperation with our coaches as well as the teachers, the children and young people deal with relevant topics for the future. By transferring them to their own lifeworld, they can classify and anchor them accordingly.
This is where CoachTheCoaches comes in and creates a dynamic learning environment for the shapers of our future, building on what already exists and a culture of togetherness and cooperation.
The coaches, who are students but also apprentices, are strengthened by CoachTheCoaches as a community in which there is a regular, creative and open exchange. In addition to acquiring didactic skills, they strengthen their soft skills and enrich each other with insights into other professions and courses of studies.
The technical-digital content taught in practice by the coaches, coupled with a way of teaching that is based on cooperation and mutual support, is intended to inspire teachers to become active innovators in digital education. They are directly supported by CoachTheCoaches in the development of their future skills in a peer-to-peer learning process.
